Assessing Benchmarking Strategies to Encourage Smart Buildings in Bellevue, Washington
Fall Quarter of 2018
The University of Washington (UW) partners with Livable City Year (LCY) every year. LCY chooses a city within Washington and helps engage students in local projects. My major, Community, Environment, and Planning (CEP), worked with the City of Bellevue fall quarter of 2018.

I worked with 5 other students to compile a report for the City of Bellevue. We had the opportunity to work for and with the Resource Conservation Manager of the City of Bellevue. Together, over the course of 10 weeks, we complied a final presentation and a final report.

My role in the group was the liaison between our Bellevue contact and our professors. I acted as the mediator between group members as well. I researched case studies and determined their applicability to the City of Bellevue. My last task for the project was to present to the City of Bellevue and various stakeholders.
